When can I sign up?

Sign up anytime, all year long and start receiving deliveries on the next available delivery day.

What will my choices be?

At this time, we offer monthly subscriptions which can be purchased either through auto-renewing payments or pre-paid blocks, both of which can be started at any time. Choose between our standard, vegetarian, or gluten-free subscriptions. At a glance:

Auto-renewing monthly:

  • No long-term commitment

  • No hassle automatic monthly renewal 

  • Easy cancellation - cancel recurring payments at any time and deliveries will end when the current month runs out

Prepaid for 1, 2, or 3 months:

  • One-time payment upfront

  • Set # of weekly deliveries (4, 8, or 12)

  • Flexible payment options & no auto-payments

What will I get in my subscription?

  • Each weekly delivery comes with 6 items. It will always include some fresh, seasonal produce: the more that's available (read: summertime), the more you'll get. The remaining items will include a wide variety of things including eggs, cheeses, meats, artisan breads, whole grains and legumes, pickles, jams, honey, and so much more. No two weeks are the same. For example, a summertime delivery may include: 1 head of lettuce, 1 pint cherry tomatoes, 1 lb of strawberries, 1 bunch basil, 1 loaf sourdough bread, &  1-lb package grass-fed ground beef.

  • All deliveries come with a printout to tell where your food items came from along with some recipe suggestions for using them. This information and more is also available on our blog the night before delivery here.

  • Home delivery is included in your subscription if you live within ~10 miles of downtown Bozeman. Beyond our delivery zone, we offer a no-contact pick-up option.

What if I have a food allergy?

If you have a food allergy that is not covered by one of our current offerings please contact us! We prefer to discuss these directly so that we have a clear idea of what you can and cannot eat.

What if I don't know what to do with an item?

We provide recipes each week to help you use some of your items, but if you ever want more suggestions or guidance, feel free to contact us. We're happy to help and we want you to get the most out of each delivery!

Do I need a cooler?

Coolers help maintain the quality of foods between when we drop them off and when you can store them. We can't guarantee a set delivery time, and we don't want to leave all your great foods exposed to the elements and critters. Coolers should be large enough to fit a brown paper grocery bag (12" x 7" x 17"). Place them in a clearly visible location or be sure to tell us where we can find it on delivery day.

Where do you deliver?

We will deliver to any location within 10 miles of downtown Bozeman that is accessible without 4-wheel drive. Here's a map of a 10 mile radius from town.

What if I live outside of the delivery zone?

We would love to work with you on finding a convenient pick-up location. Contact us before placing your order and we can chat!

*COVID-19 Update: We are currently only offering contactless pick up options where our customers are not required to go inside. Available locations are in NE Bozeman and a few miles west of Belgrade. Please contact us to arrange.

Is everything organic?

No. We strive to source quality products that were grown, raised, or crafted in Montana, and we know that there are many excellent products that aren't certified organic. We prioritize local suppliers who use environmentally responsible practices. Learn more about who we buy from through our Suppliers page!

Can I pause my subscription while I'm gone?

Yes, of course! Simply contact us at least 3 days before your next delivery to pause. We automatically carry over that week as a delivery credit. Alternatively, we can provide a refund upon request. Typically, for less than 3 days' notice, we have already purchased items for the week and cannot provide a refund or delivery credit.

You could also:

  1. Gift it! A house-sitter, friend, neighbor, family member, or co-worker would probably love to try Farm Cart. With 24 hours notice, we can even deliver to a different location for the week/s you're gone.

  2. Donate it! We will gladly donate your subscription to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank during the week/s that you are gone and provide you with donation receipts.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our subscriptions are designed to be flexible with a minimum commitment of just 1 month. Auto-renewing payments can be canceled at anytime and deliveries will end when the current paid month runs out. Or, you can purchase a single month subscription (4 weeks). 

If for any reason you need to cancel and don't want your remaining deliveries, we may be able to refund you your balance with enough advance notice. Please contact us to arrange this!

Will you have other offerings?

Yes! Our goal at Farm Cart is to grow with input from our customers and would-be customers. We are starting with one basic idea so that we can learn from and adapt to customer needs. If you have suggestions for other types of offerings that would better suit how you eat, cook, or shop, please let us know!
